Spent a couple hours getting the gun set up and practicing with latex.
Primed gear towers, forward floor, and started baggage bulkheads.
I am using Stewart Systems Ekopoxy primer for the forward fuselage and cockpit.
Match drilled forward and aft center section bulkheads, seat ramp supports, and floor angles.
Finished scuffing substructure parts. Drilled rudder cable holes in forward and aft center bulkheads.
Fabricated forward control mount.
Jumping ahead a bit while I wait on my HVLP gun to arrive.
Fluted baggage bulkheads, trimmed and match drilled stiffeners to floor.
Countersunk, deburr, began edge prep, and scuffed all sub structure parts.
Drill, countersink, deburr, and scuff access covers and tower parts.
Access panels turned out nice, lots of precise drilling accomplished with a drill press. I drilled both cover plates together so they will be interchangeable.
Finished riveting ribs and intercostals to forward floor assembly and stiffeners to cooling ramp.
Countersunk and deburred left and right gear towers. Right tower parts scuffed for priming.
Traced and cut out gear tower access panels.
Riveted firewall and forward floor assembly.
Drilled, prepped, and primed cooling ramp stiffeners.
