Rudder position light: 1.0 hour

Installed weatherpack connector to postion light wiring.

Rudder fairing: 1.6 hours

Knocking out small things while I wait on the fuselage kit to arrive.
Made rough cuts in rudder fairing for rudder horn.

Drilled and mounted rudder position light.

Left elevator & trim tab: 2.2 hours

Primed ribs and riveted in place. Much nicer lines and spacing.

Left elevator & trim tab: 8.4 hours

Decided to redo some parts I was not content with and constructed a new elevator trim tab. The orginal tab had a slight bow in the skin from accidentally bending the tab spar flange while dimpling.
Trimmed ends of trim tab and elevator. Fabricated and installed minature ribs. Looks much better than the standard fold over ends but consumed quite a bit of time making the mini ribs from sheet. BTW it’s a 10° bend.

Wings complete: 3.5 hours

Installed left and right nav light connector wiring.

Installed coax to nav antenna terminals.

Lights check good, finished!

Wingtips: 3.8 hours

Installed reinforcing ribs to wing tips.

Installed click bond wire anchors.

Wingtips: 5.3 hours

Installed nav lights and lenses.

Added foam board to aft tips to stiffen the area. Formed and drilled angle mounts for a tip rib reinforcement.

Wingtips: 3.4 hours

Drilled holes for nav light installation and installed click bond nutplates.

Final shaped, scuffed, and primed tip rib reinforcement.

Wing tips: 4.5 hours

Installed remaining fiberglass reinforcing strip to left tip. Cut and shaped aluminum tip rib reinforcement. Sanded trailing edge of wingtips flush with ailerons.

Drilled and countersunk wingtip lenses.

Cut and bent wingtip hinges to fit retainers.

Wingtip fiberglass: 3.5 hours

Added fiberglass reinforcing strip to wingtips.

Trapezoid foam worked well but I lacked proper clearance to do both sides so top sides have extra glass only.
